Japanese Sporty tank knock off. Heavier gage then the HD tanks. The filler neck will get chopped and moved forward and the petcock will be relocated to the rear, Frisco style. Then its off for paint.
I picked up this simple but cool looking Bugeye Air Cleaner at the Long Beach Swap meet last month. I'm running the stock CV carb that came with my Sportster. The A/C is drilled for a bendix carb. I kindly asked my freind DJ, from the great state of Washington, to see if he could machine an adapter for the A/C.
My boss gave me these at work yesterday. I wasn't about to turn down free parts. They're in great shape too! I'm going to mock them up and see how they look on my build.
Working on polishing the lower fork legs. Here's the right leg all shined up next to the left leg that I'm working on now. Hours of wet sanding to get them smooth, then a buffing wheel and some Mother's Polish.
NAVSPECWAR Operators can't be wrong! Sig Sauer, one of the top combat proven firearms todate. This is the P220 in .45 ACP. BIG knockdown power in a DA autopistol. One of the best.
Found this on the D-T-F-P blog. Bitchin' 1972 Ironhead Sportster owned by a gent in the U.K. called Zip and built by Benny Boneshaker Chopper builder extraordinare!
