Slim's Fab
I didn't like the way the gas tank sat on my frame. I had Slim cut out the old bottom. A lowered tunnel and new rear petcock location installed. A little more gas and it now sits the way I want it to on the frame. Thanks Slim!!

Cigar Aficianado?
Nothing like a good cigar and your favorite food and drink after a hard week at work! So far the best cigars I've tried have been the Arturo Fuentes, San Cristobal, Romeo y Julieta Havana Reserve, and cigars by CAO.

The King
The Bung King always sends me the right parts with great prices and fast shipping. I've ordered parts from other places and have gotten the wrong parts. What a hassle! I highly recommend Bung King for your garage built moto projects!

Slash cut tips
I finished TIG welding my new garage fabbed exhaust pipes. I then decided to slash cut the tips hot rod style. A sharpie marker and 4-1/2 inch cutoff wheel on my Dewalt grinder completed the job! Now to sand down the welds and off to Jett Hot Coatings!

Make old parts fit.
Picked up this old sissy bar last week. It had a crooked fender mount on it and a another crooked piece of flatbar 4 inches below the one I left on there. I cut off the pieces I didn't need. Going to smooth things out with some file and flapper wheel work. I'm going to use some bungs to mount it to the rear axle plates and fender. New plating and it will be good to go.

Fender Chop
I picked up this cool old Sporty fender. Probably off an Ironhead. Anyway, I got to cutting with my Jigsaw and it looks pretty good already. Going to pound out a couple dings, fill in some holes, mount it up and paint it. Not bad!

1911's Forever! God Bless America!
RIA 1911 .45 ACP Compact Officer's model! Once you shoot it, you'll like it too! Perfect for CCW. This one belong's to my friend Mr. Barajas.

Cleared
Back bone was a little too close to the top rear rocker box. Some cutting and a patch welded in was all it took.

The Eye
I've always like these Harley Davidson headlight mounts. I picked this one up from Chop Cult classifieds.

Texas Rattler's bad ass "45" Chopper!
I found this pic of one of the best looking 45's out there! It's got a neat story behind it too. From the Jockey Journal.

JP Cycles!
I've never had a problem dealing with JP Cycles! Ordered a new rear brake disc and 51 tooth sprocket! Now I'm ready to align the driveline. One more task to cross off the list! I'm getting there!

New coil mount
Taking care of a few little details. I cut up the top motor mount so I could relocate the location of my coil. Pretty easy to do. Not rocket science.

Wheels
Installed the spacers cut by DJ. Decided to throw the tank, fender, bars, and seat on there to see what it looks like. I like it.
Getting my seat together. I think I'm going to pay to have it covered by a professional. The Haifley brothers do awesome work at a fair price. This used to be an old Cobra seat. I stripped off the old nasty upholstery and old foam. I picked up sleeping bag cushion at Walmart, cut it to fit the pan and glued it down. I may add one more layer for comfort.

Little frame work
Rear rocker box cover sitting a little too close to the backbone of the frame. I cut a notch for clearance and made a little patch. Welded up and finished with a little file work and its good as new and solid. Last two things to do to the frame are passenger peg mounts and weld on the seat hinge and then off for powdercoating!

Took the family up to L.A. to visit my sister and bro-in-law and the two nephews. We stopped on Melrose Ave. for some lunch and dropped in on Powerplant Choppers. Its a little hard to find if you're not careful. The owner was busy with a customer that is having a chopper built but he kindly let me snap some photos. I bought a hat and the owner's store manager gave us some free stickers. Cool shop with some nice bikes.

Front spacers
Used temporary spacers for my 90's 9 spoke mags on a 2001 39mm narrow front end. I had a 21" spoked wheel on there and the spacers would not work with the early mag wheels due to the hub width differences and the different bearing types. Got it sorted out and sending the spacer stock out to DJ to have them cut. I did the same thing with the rear spacers and used Fab Kevin's tech article found in the May 2011 #108 issue of the Horse.

Home built handlebars
I remember seeing bars like these on a cool Shovelhead chopper that I really liked. I decided to build my own with some 1018 mild steel tubing and riser bungs from Bung King. I think they turned out great. I just need to final weld the cross peice and decide on chrome or powdercoat.

9 Spoke Mags
Mocked up temporary front wheel spacers. Going to cut new ones for some 4130 spacer stock I have. I think the 9 spoke mags will look better powdercoated black.
