You have to have quality tools that last. I went over to the Home Depot and picked up this 4-1/2 inch grinder by DeWalt. It has a 3 year warranty. The Makita had a 1 year warranty. I didn't even bother picking up the $29.00 Ryobi.I've used and abused DeWalt tools for years when I worked as a welder for the U.S. Navy, the Steel Industry, and for defense contracts. Plus I was tired of borrowing my friend's grinder. Now I have one I can call my own. I love this thing and its going to come in handy for my Sportster build.
