I took the stocker and cut off the foot of the stand then I went over to a friend's to use his Oxy/Acetylene torch to heat the stand where I had it marked and gently persuaded it to bend in a vise with my trusty 4 lb. hammer. Klubfoot's 650 Chopper
One of the nicest XS650 choppers out there. Simple and built to eat up the miles! The flame job is pretty nice too!Welding
Got my MIG welder running and jumped back on my Sporty build. I think I'm going to call this bike SLO-MO, slow like molasses! I have to get my fender mounted next, build a sissy bar, weld in bungs for my gas tank, and mounts for my oil tank and the frame should be ready for powdercoating!
