I thought about it and realized that to properly rebuild a hardtail for my Sporty I'd have to find a skilled welder with experience and knowlege on motorcycle frames. Someone with a proper jig for the type of frame that I have. I don't have a jig and my welding machine is down. So I've decided to send the front half of my Sportster frame to a pro with the proper tools. The frame should be done in a few weeks. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. The frame in the pic is not mine. Its just to give you an idea of what a correct frame jig looks like.
